Wild Somatics · 8-Week Programme The Elemental Arc Earth, Water, Air, Fire. An eight-week somatic journey through the four elements as a framework for deep systemic change.

The Elemental Arc is an eight-week structured programme that uses the four classical elements — Earth, Water, Air, Fire — as a map for somatic and psychological transformation. It draws on Seth Miller's elemental transformation thesis, Angeles Arrien's Fourfold Way, African Sangoma cosmology, and alchemical herbalism.

Each element governs a phase of the work. Each phase has its own orientation, its own practices, its own quality of attention. Together they form a complete arc — from grounding and stabilisation, through emotional fluency, cognitive clarity, and finally into the transformative fire of authentic action.

Wk 1–2 Earth · Belonging & Ground stabilisation · body as home · safety in the body
Wk 3–4 Water · Flow & Feeling emotional intelligence · grief · ancestral connection
Wk 5–6 Air · Clarity & Voice narrative · identity · speaking from the body
Wk 7–8 Fire · Action & Integration authentic movement · embodied will · new earth

"Earth teaches us to belong. Water teaches us to feel. Air teaches us to speak. Fire teaches us to become. Together, they describe the full arc of a human life reclaimed."

Wild Somatics · Elemental Arc

The Arc does not belong to any single tradition. It holds Angeles Arrien's Fourfold Way — the warrior, healer, visionary, teacher — alongside Seth Miller's alchemical transformation arc. It carries the influence of African Sangoma cosmology, where the elements speak through the body of the practitioner as living forces, not abstract categories.

Spagyric herbal preparations corresponding to each element are available as an accompaniment to the programme — optional but deeply supportive.

The programme can be undertaken individually or in small groups of up to six participants. Group work introduces a constellation dimension — the elements come alive differently in relationship, and the group field becomes its own teacher.

Each participant receives a take-home document at the close of each phase — a written map of the terrain just traversed and a compass for what follows.

An overview of the eight-week programme — what each phase involves and what to expect
Do I need prior somatic experience to join the Arc?+
No. The Arc is designed to be a complete container in itself. The Earth phase specifically builds the somatic foundations needed for the work that follows. Many participants come to the Arc as their first encounter with somatic practice.
Can the Arc be done online?+
Yes — the individual format translates fully online. The group format works best in person but can also be adapted for online delivery with smaller groups.
What is the difference between the individual and group Arc?+
The individual Arc follows your specific process through each element. The group Arc introduces a constellation dimension — the elements show up differently in relationship, and the group field becomes its own teacher. Both are deeply effective.
Do the spagyric preparations come with the programme?+
They are optional but available. Each elemental phase has a corresponding preparation — we discuss what is appropriate for your process at the start of each phase.
