Wild Somatics · Systemic Work Systems & Constellations Family Constellations and systemic work — exploring the hidden loyalties, entanglements, and ancestral fields that shape our present experience.

Family Constellations, developed by Bert Hellinger and extended by many practitioners since, works with the premise that we carry within us the unresolved experiences of our family system — not just our own, but those of parents, grandparents, and ancestors whose lives were interrupted by trauma, loss, or exclusion.

These systemic entanglements show up in our lives as repetitive patterns, unexplained emotions, relationship difficulties, or a persistent sense of not belonging. Constellation work makes these invisible loyalties visible — and in doing so, creates the possibility of resolution.

The approach used here draws on the classic Hellinger method alongside Process Work (Arnold Mindell), somatic attunement, and individual dollies-based constellation work — allowing the method to be used in individual sessions as well as group settings.

Constellation work is not therapy in the conventional sense. It is systemic intelligence — the field showing what needs to be seen, acknowledged, and returned to its rightful place in the order of things.

"What we cannot mourn, we carry. What we cannot name, we repeat. Constellation work offers a third way — to see clearly, and in seeing, to be released."

Constellation work often moves quickly and deeply. It is held with care and with the understanding that the field will only show what the system is ready to hold. There is no forcing here — only attending.

Do I need to know my family history in detail?+
No. The field knows what it knows regardless of what we consciously bring. We work with what is present — sometimes very little information is needed for the work to move.
Is this suitable for adoptees or people who don't know their biological family?+
Yes — often profoundly so. The biological field is present whether it is known or not. Constellation work can be particularly clarifying for those with broken or unknown lineages.
What is the dollies method?+
In individual constellation work, small figures are used to represent family members in the field — positioned by the client according to felt sense. This allows the constellation to be done without a group of representatives, in a private one-to-one setting.
How many sessions does constellation work usually take?+
A single constellation can shift something significantly. But integration takes time, and most people return for more than one constellation over a period of months. We work at the pace of the system, not the mind's desire for quick resolution.
